Our poster **Tactile Sensor Units for Robotic Hand Prosthesis** reports on archived results from the **DFG project Tact-Hand** (later to become Deep-Hand), number 272314643.
To equip a robotic hand prosthesis, elastic fabric-based tactile sensors were laser tailored for a semi-automatic two-stage silicone-rubber moulding process, resulting in hermetically sealed Sensing Units. The poster briefly summarises the technical methods that have been developed and evaluates the force response of the finished Sensing Units. The sibling poster "Slip Detection and Grasp Force Adaptation with Tactile Sensor on an iLimb Hand Prosthesis", also presented at the International Workshop on Smart Skins, Munich 2018, gives an experimental evaluation of a prosthesis equipped with our Sensing Units.
