Abstract / Bemerkung
In this paper a new diversity selection combiningscheme called SSB
(simplified switched beam) is given, as wellas its test-bed
implementation. SSB has apparent advantage interms of size, power and
complexity since it only requires oneRF front-end and very few
additional components. Furthermore,an interference suppression technique
is designed, which caneffectively mitigate the disturbance on correct
diversity selectioncaused by interference. The intensive measurements
made in anindoor environment show that this test-bed can closely
approachthe theoretical prediction on SNR gain and AF (amount of
fading)made in [4] and [9] previously.
