Even though sexual Tourism has been studied in diverse disciplines and from different perspectives, developed studies on this field lack a clear definition of It. Thus, the first purpose of this article is to offer a possible definition of such phenomenon. Based on this theoretical tool and on the premise that the main category in relationships between subjects of different nationalities is the nation, it Is examined how sexual tourism between locals and foreigners works in three countries: Brazil, Cuba and Dominican Republic. Finally, according to the Identified intersection points In the previously mentioned cases regarding this phenomenon, it is also shown how the human body is alienated as a result of transnational merchandising, affecting the gender Identification process among Individuals.
