Abstract / Bemerkung
Difficult heritage refers to objects and places associated with crimes against humanity, cruelty, violence, and state arbitrariness. This includes wars embedded in the heroic state narrative in Russian museums. This article describes the current situation regarding the difficult legacy of the Great Patriotic War in Russian museums.
