Abstract / Bemerkung
Hangzhou, where I am now living and which is most well-known for the West Lake, has recently witnessed the highest temperature this summer, 43 degrees Celsius. I studied and worked in this city for 12 years during the 1980s and 1990s, but had no impression of ever experiencing such hot weather during that time. Clearly, climate change is making heat waves hotter and more frequent. Then, what we CIS-ers can help for tackling climate change?
