Abstract / Bemerkung
The article examines the formation of a historiographical tradition of studying the “difficult” heritage in Russian. A definition of “dissonant” heritage is given and its specificity is highlighted. The works of domestic authors are divided into three blocks: conceptual understanding of the “dissonant” heritage, the experience of Russian museums and the study of foreign practice. The analysis highlights the specifics of each block of literature.
