Abstract / Bemerkung
In this paper a new approach for the synthesis of safety relevant monitoring functions for automotive electronic control units with a 3-layer safety concept is presented. Given a steering ECU with underlying model-based steering functions and associated requirements on signal monitoring, an approach of signal classification is used to construct a software function by means of learning algorithms that monitors the related SF and complies with the legal safety requirements.
