BASE (**B**ielefeld **A**cademic **S**earch **E**ngine) is one of the world's most voluminous search engines, especially for academic web resources. BASE indexes more than 310 million documents from more than 10,000 content providers (institutional repositories, journals, digital collections, etc.). About 60% of the indexed documents are open access. BASE is operated by Bielefeld University Library since 2004 and offers several services to reuse the aggregated, normalised and enriched index data in other search services. Since 2017 authors can claim their works in BASE using the "ORCID Search & Link Wizard". In 2022, BASE registered to the EOSC marketplace. [base-search.net](https://base-search.net)
