Abstract / Bemerkung
The recognition of the Anthropocene paves the way to the formation of a new knowledge regime attuned to study the human and the natural worlds in their entanglement. Historical thinking can play a role in the knowledge regime of the Anthropocene inasmuch as it can accommodate. The emerging new sense of historicity attuned to the Anthropocene predicament is one that proves to be able to recognize “unprecedented change” as a disconnection of past and future lifeworlds.
