Abstract / Bemerkung
This data publication contains the software and environments used in the publication: “O.J.N Bertrand, J.P. Lindemann, M. Egelhaaf: A bio-inspired collision avoidance model based on spatial information derived from motion detectors leads to common routes. PLOS Computational Biology (2015)”.
The software subtends several Matlab functions and tools designed for simulating an agent, with an insect like eye sensor, in different environments. Geometrical optic-flow can be computed by the OpticFlow Toolbox and correlation type elementary motion detector can be simulated using the CyberInsect. Both packages are maintained as part of the OpenSource project ivTools (https://opensource.cit-ec.de/projects/ivtools). Detailed help and usage instructions are embedded in the functions.
Cluttered environments and different textures used in the study (Bertrand et al., 2015) have been included as well.
