Abstract / Bemerkung
This lecture presents a short overview of the concept of religious taste and how it can contribute to an understanding of religious choices. The core question is: How can religious choices be explained? The concept of taste taken from the social theory of the French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu and applied to the field of religion is assumed to contribute to an explanation of religious choices.
