Abstract / Bemerkung
A connection between evolutionary mutation-selection dynamics on sequence space and linear representations of the hyper-octahedral group (interpreted as the isometry group of the space of {0, 1-sequences relative to the Hamming distance metric) and other such wreath product groups is established and studied.
