Abstract / Bemerkung
Using the time-of-flight technique and narrowband tunable VUV radiation we performed rotationally selective state-to-state photoelectron spectroscopy in the autoionization region between the (2)Pi-ionization thresholds of HCl+. With a resolving power of similar to 10(5) in the excitation step and an electron energy resolution better than 6 meV for the employed TOF spectrometer, a determination of the fully resolved partial photoelectron yield and the partial angular distribution of the photoelectrons was possible for the Rydberg states of order n = 16. Evidence is found for the reassignment of s-resonances to d-resonances. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
