Abstract
A novel tribenzotriquinacene-based tris-NHC has been obtained and coordinated to rhodium. The new ligand displays a unique rigid C-3v symmetry. The electrochemical analysis of the tri-rhodium complex reveals that the three metals are essentially disconnected.
