Abstract / Bemerkung
Freeze-out conditions in Heavy Ion Collisions are generally determined bycomparing experimental results for ratios of particle yields with theoreticalpredictions based on applications of the Hadron Resonance Gas model. We discusshere how this model dependent determination of freeze-out parameters mayeventually be replaced by theoretical predictions based on equilibrium QCDthermodynamics.
