Abstract
The 25 mesons formed out of the u, d, s, c, and b quarks and antiquarks are assumed to transform as 24 + 1 representation of the conventional flavour SU(5) group. Simple breaking of SU(5) leads to sum rules among the masses of the isospin multiplets which are obeyed to within a few percent. The masses of the yet undiscovered vector mesons B-c*(+)((b) over bar c) and B-s*(0)((b) over bar s) are predicted to be 6279 MeV and 5432 MeV. Predictions for the corresponding pseudoscalar mesons are also given.
