Abstract
The magnetoresistance and magnetic properties of Py/Co1/CuAgAu/Co2 have been examined. The fairly large GMR amplitude accompanied by high GMR sensitivity of about 5%/Oe was achieved. It has been shown that such high values of parameters characterizing the GMR effect could only be obtained due to the balancing effect between RKKY-like exchange coupling and magnetostatic coupling.
