Abstract / Bemerkung
The intention behind the ETACE Virtual Appliance is to make every step related to the initialization, simulation and analysis of the Eurace@Unibi model as easy as possible. Thus, it is meant (i) to ensure the reproducibility of results, (ii) as a form of model documentation and communication, (iii) to heighten the credibility of the model. The Virtual Appliance is a stand-alone Linux-based virtual machine that provides a full suite of programmes for (large-scale) agent-based modelling and simulation. It builds on the core Flame modelling environment, adding programs such as a Graphical User Interface, an Editor for agent-based model design and an integrated solution for data visualisation using R. Code of the Eurace@Unibi Model (v1.0) is included to reproduce the results of various publications. Documentation of all programs and models are included.
